Parking Regulations

Please CHECK YOUR STREET SIGNS at the beginning, middle & end of the block in the direction of travel. If unsure of these parking regulations please call or stop in the Village Hall for assistance.

SPRING SUMMER FALL FROM APRIL 1 TO NOVEMBER 30
Alternate side parking for 1 hour per day depending on which street you live on.

THURSDAY park on the ODD NUMBERED side of the street
FRIDAYS park on the EVEN NUMBERED side of the street

 Between   8:00 am -   9:00 am -  All Manhasesset Isle

 Between   9:00 am - 10:00 am -  Ashwood Rd. - Firwood Rd.

Between 10:00 am - 11:00 am -   Graywood Rd. - Linwood Rd. N

Please PAY Your Parking Tickets PROMPTLY to Avoid Increased FINES.

If you fail to answer a parking ticket within 30 days of the date of the violation, the fine will be doubled.
If you fail to answer a parking ticket within 60 days of the date of the violation, the fine will be three times the original fine.

EQUIPMENT VIOLATIONS FOR DEFECTIVE HEADLIGHTS AND TAILLIGHTS

To dismiss a Ticket for a defective headlight or taillight, proof must be submitted to the Court that the violation was repaired within 24 hours of receipt of the Ticket. An automobile repair shop bill will be accepted or if you, the motorist, make the repair, you must also submit proof of purchase of the part to the Court, along with an affidavit signed by you that you made the repair.

If the light is not repaired within said 24 hour period, the fine due is $55.00. Kindly forward your Ticket along with a check in this amount .

In either event, it is not necessary to appear on the Court night indicated on the Ticket. Proof of repair, or payment, can be made at the front window of the Village Hall's Justice Court between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

PROOF OF INSURANCE
INSURANCE CARDS NOT ACCEPTED
Motorist MUST Provide:

1. An ORIGINAL LETTER from the home office of your insurance company ( not a broker ). No photocopies or faxes accepted.

2. Letter must be written on the insurance company's letterhead and signed by a dully authorized representative.

3. All letters must be typed and signed in ink. NO fax or photocopies.

4. The letter must state the effective dates of the coverage period.

5. The letter must state that no lapse occured during the effective dates of the coverage period. If lapsed occured, state the dates of the lapse of coverge.

6. The letter must state that the coverage was in full force prior to and on the date the ticket was issued.

7. The letter must give a description of the vehicle:
   a. The Year
   b. Make and Model
   c. Vehicle identification Number ( VIN )
   d. License Plate Number
